OPINION
Tottenham Hotspur centre back Juan Foyth had a pretty decent game on the whole in his side’s 5-0 win over Bournemouth on Wednesday, and so it’s rather surprising to see the Spurs fans criticise him on Twitter in this way. There was one moment shortly after half time that the Spurs fans seemed to take exception to. Foyth came across to try and get back at Cherries striker Callum Wilson who had got away from him in the box. He did so successfully in the end, but it was a bit of a blunt approach that the defender took and Wilson and Eddie Howe were screaming for a penalty. You do think that the youngster could do with being a bit more calm when he is operating in the penalty area, but still the criticism from some Tottenham fans is a bit harsh. Other than that one moment Foyth was pretty solid against Bournemouth and had a fairly routine game. Still, he does need to work on his composure in the box.
