OPINION
Go on Tottenham fans, be excited. Christmas is coming, your new stadium could be opening next month and Mauricio Pochettino is boundĀ to have the side bounce back from that defeat at the weekend. According to the Mirror, Spurs could make a statement about the grand-opening of the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium next week as the club hopes to have it open in time to host the Premier League clash against Manchester United on January 13. You can understand why some fans might be sceptical. Spurs have already eyed two opening dates but fans are still having to make their way to Wembley to watch their team play. Hopefully this new update will be right though because Spurs fans are home-sick and they need to be back at White Hart Lane. The new 62,000-seater stadium looks gorgeous and most importantly, it looks as though it’s ready to host games. Obviously there are a few other bits and bobs that need finalising, but at least you can physically see that it’s almost there.
