OPINION
Surely Ralph Hasenhuttl will have seen that Matt Target is not good enough for Southampton after watching his display against Cardiff? The Saints do not exactly have good options in defence but luckily Hasenhuttl will have the January transfer window to sort out this issue if he has money to spend next month. Targett has not been that great for the Saints since returning from his loan spell at Fulham and that just shows that the left-back is good enough for a top Championship side, but not good enough for a Premier League side. He is basically the Dwight Gayle of left-backs. We will see whether or not Targett stays in the side for the next game but hopefully Ryan Bertrand is back to fitness after missing the action this week. If not then these Saints fans will be made to worry yet again when Hasenhuttl’s side play Arsenal next week.

Redmond and Armstrong aren’t in the game at all. Can’t wait for Bertrand to be back, Targett is still awful. Romeu, PEH and Lemina can’t string 3 passes together. Valery has looked very nervous. Would take a draw right now, Cardiff look dangerous ???? #saintsfc
