COMMENTARY
It is fair to say that Joe Worrall did not pick up too many new fans among the Rangers faithful with his performance against Dundee on Sunday afternoon. The supporters were left absolutely raging on Twitter and understandably so after the home side’s opening goal. The communication between him and central partner Connor Goldson was non-existent and that needs to change if the two of them are going to play together again any time soon. Steven Gerrard is blessed with a number of top talents at the heart of defence, with Borna Barisic and Gareth McAuley both waiting in the wings to take their places back among the starting XI. Considering how shaky he looked throughout, Worrall cannot be certain his place is going to be there much longer. More worryingly, the fans are calling for his return to Nottingham Forest – will Gerrard heed their calls come January? Only time will tell, but this is not what the Gers expected from his signing.
