Rangers faced a must-win match in arctic conditions on Thursday night as they took on Rapid Vienna in the Europa league.
In the end, on a frustrating night, they couldn’t break the home side down and lost to a late goal after a mistake from Allan McGregor.
Most Rangers fans weren’t blaming him though and thought Lassana Coulibaly was their worst player on the night.
The 22-year-old midfielder is on a season-long loan from Angers and has had a mixed start to this Rangers career.
He started off well at Ibrox but after a hamstring injury he can’t seem to settle and get into his stride, and he looked lost at times in the middle on Thursday night.
He wasn’t the only one. Rangers looked solid enough in the first-half but they seemed to forget how to pass the ball towards the end.
They still had the best chance of the game though as Connor Goldson smacked a header against the upright.
They were better in the second-half but ultimately came up short in a really disappointing night.
