OPINION
How good is Ryan Jack? Just imagine if the midfielder’s time at Rangers wasn’t plagued with injury issues because the Glasgow giants would have had many more positive results if he was available for 100 per cent of games. The former Aberdeen captain was at his best again on Thursday night in the Europa League clash with Rapid Vienna. He controlled the midfield and offered a ridiculous amount of composure that made you wonder how the Gers actually managed to win games without him playing. The 26-year-old definitely has his critics but there are none on Thursday with the vast majority of supporters gushing over the Scotland international for his display in the Austrian capital. One fan even compared Jack to Italian legend Andrea Pirlo, which is definitely something that will cause some debate, but it is good to see the Rangers supporters enjoying one of their players’ performances.

Decent 1st half. Ryan Jack has been solid. Coulibally fairly poor again. Mixed bag of performances but not a terrible showing.

We are the better team here and they look poor, Ryan Jack the best player on the park by a distance. Coulibally needs to start passing the ball better.

Jack’s been the best player on the park, McCrorie has done well as well. Hope Grezda for Coulibaly happens early on and Arfield can get back central.
