OPINION
Lassana Coulibaly received absolute pelters from a section of Rangers fans for his display in the 0-0 draw with Hibernian, but surely those fans had only watched the first-half because after the break the Mali international definitely showed an improvement. It wasn’t an improvement that made you think ‘wow, we need to sign him permanently’ but it was a step-up from his recent displays for the Light Blues. Coulibaly’s drop in form over the last few months has been something that has been widely talked about by some Rangers fans and it seems like people are just going to be quick to jump on his back in games without giving him a whole 90 minutes to prove himself. It still wasn’t an amazing display by the midfielder at Easter Road, but once Ross McCrorie replaced Scott Arfield at half-time, you have to admit he did get better. Hopefully the Ibrox first teamer can play like that more often for the rest of the season, and not make shocking mistakes like he did in the first-half when he could have played in Eros Grezda for an easy chance to score.
