OPINION
Right back Kyle Walker-Peters might well have produced the finest performance of his fledgling Tottenham Hotspur career in his team’s 5-0 win over Bournemouth on Wednesday and it had the supporters raving on Twitter. The 21-year-old was phenomenal from start to finish at Wembley, setting up all three first half goals in what was an entertaining affair. The Cherries had their chances against Mauricio Pochettino’s side, but the superior quality of Spurs told in the end. Walker-Peters’ delivery from out wide was sensational, putting balls on a plate for his team mates throughout the contest. Neither Kieran Trippier or Serge Aurier have particularly impressed for Tottenham this season and so there is a position there to be won for Walker-Peters, and he appears determined to do just that if Wednesday’s performance is any indication. Bravo to the young man, because he was excellent against Eddie Howe’s team. Let’s see if he can keep this fine form going moving forward.
