Tottenham could have a big injury problem on their hands as they prepare to play Barcelona in the Nou Camp on Tuesday.

Football.London journalist Alasdair Gold spotted that Serge Aurier wasn’t with Moussa Sissoko as the team jetted out to Spain.

“We’re also used to seeing Serge Aurier by Moussa Sissoko’s side wherever they go. Has the Ivorian missed out after that injury at Leicester?”

It would be a big blow for manager Mauricio Pochettino with number one right-back Kieran Trippier also out with injury.

Aurier limped out of the 2-0 win against Leicester on Saturday in the 78th minute and could have joined a seemingly never-ending list of Spurs injured this season.

Christian Eriksen has made the trip though and should be set to start after only playing a short cameo role in the game at the King Power on Saturday evening.

Harry Kane should be fresh as well after coming off the bench on Saturday. he was given a very rare rest by Pochettino, who said that his star player is not a “machine”.

It could open the door for a first start to the season outside of the EFL Cup for Kyle Walker-Peters, who Tottenham fans have been crying out for for weeks.

What a game to be plunged into.
