Newcastle United travel to Vicarage Road to take on Watford in a crucial Premier League clash on Saturday afternoon, and Rafa Benitez must make two changes to his starting XI.

The Magpies suffered a heavy defeat last time out against league leaders Liverpool, with the Reds emerging 4-0 winners at Anfield to extend their lead at the top of the table.

Opponents Watford also lost to top-six opposition in their previous clash as Eden Hazard inspired Chelsea to a 2-1 win at Vicarage Road.

Benitez opted for a five-at-the-back formation against Liverpool at Anfield but must revert to a four-man back line on Saturday, with two changes needed.

In goal, Martin Dubravka must retain his place.

In defence, DeAndre Yedlin, Jamaal Lascelles, Federico Fernandez and Paul Dummett must all retain their places, with Dummett now at left-back instead of on the left of three centre-backs.

One change must come in midfield with the returning pass master Jonjo Shelvey replacing 23-year-old Isaac Hayden, while Mohamed Diame retains his spot alongside.

Matt Ritchie must make the switch from left-back to right-wing, while Kenedy takes up his normal position on the left flank.

In attack, Yoshinori Muto must retain his place, while Salomon Rondon must come in for Joselu to lead the line.

This is a Newcastle XI which can bounce back from that heavy defeat against Liverpool to crush Watford on Saturday and climb further away from relegation trouble.
