Everton fans watching on in their side’s clash against Tottenham on Sunday would have seen a surprise sight on the bench – 28-year-old Oumar Niasse.

The Senegal international, who has 38 appearances in total under his belt for the Toffees, had appeared four times in the opening five Premier League games this season but since then had not featured once in the top flight, not even among the substitutes.

As such, his future at the club looks to be short lived and journalist Alan Nixon has claimed on his personal Twitter account that league rivals Cardiff City are keen on taking him to the Welsh capital.

However, when probed about a potential asking price the reporter stated that the Toffees were looking for a figure in the region of £12million – and the Merseyside outfit are having a laugh if they believe he is worth that much.

At 28-years-old he is not a potential star worth investing in and having scored just 12 times in the Premier League he is hardly a top quality forward in England.

Quite frankly it is embarrassing that Everton are demanding such an outlandish figure and there should be no club on earth who are willing to meet their asking price.

Niasse and Everton are no longer a match for one another but the club are stopping him from continuing his career by placing such a high fee on his head and it is pure greed from the Toffees.
