BBC journalist David Ornstein has delivered a significant transfer update to Arsenal fans.
In an “exclusive” message, posted on his personal Twitter page, Ornstein said that Aaron Ramsey would hold talks with five major clubs ahead of his exit as a free agent in the summer.
The 28-year-old midfielder can talk to clubs in January on a pre-contract basis.
Ornsetin also said that Arsenal have “little money” and will look for loans in January with a bigger spend expected in the summer.

OPINION
This isn’t going to be a great window for Arsenal by the sounds of it, but with major surgery needed to the backline Emery was always going to be looking at next summer. Loan deals might just about keep the wheels on in the short-term, but the Liverpool demolition job showed that they’ve got precious little hope of ending up in the top-four this season. With Chelsea stuttering it’s still a possibility but Arsenal will need to shore up that defence quickly. We’re still not happy about Aaron Ramsey leaving either. The calibre of clubs coming in for him with talks over January show what a major player he is on the world stage. Arsenal can’t be held to ransom but the manner of his contract negotiations and his departure will leave a sour taste in the mouth of most Gunners fans. After the brief honeymoon period it’s down to business for Emery who should be under no illusions as to the size of the task ahead of him. His points total is very similar to Arsene Wenger’s last season and that won’t be enough in 19/20 and 20/21.
