OPINION
Adam Forshaw hasn’t done a lot to impress the Leeds United supporters this season, and that was the case again on Saturday when a section of fans destroyed the former Middlesbrough man for his display in the 2-0 defeat to Hull at Elland Road. Forshaw has been anchoring the Whites midfield since mid-October with him not really looking like he was in Marcelo Bielsa’s plans up until that point. Injuries have forced him to play because Kalvin Phillips has dropped into the defence lately, freeing up a spot for Forshaw. However Bielsa was probably right to keep overlooking the £4.5million (BBC Sport) midfielder earlier in the season, because recent displays have been below what is expected of someone trying to win promotion to the Premier League. One Leeds fan has said that Forshaw has “got to go”, which is a bit extreme, but he definitely should be dropped from the starting line-up for upcoming games.
