OPINION
Two of Leeds’ promotion rivals were in action on Friday night at The Hawthorns, as West Brom hosted Aston Villa.
And in a controversial finish, West Brom striker Jay Rodriguez scored with his hand in the 90th minute to send the home fans into ecstasy.
And the Leeds fans were pretty happy too with all of them loving the dropped points from both sides.
With time running out and Aston Villa winning 2-1, Rodriguez flung himself at a cross, connected with it, but didn’t send it goalwards before he fell and it struck his hand, maybe a couple of times, and rolled over the line.
He didn’t celebrate as if he expected the goal to be ruled out but incredibly the referee gave it, even after consulting with his linesman.
Leeds fans were celebrating though as the draw keeps West Brom three points behind them in third and Leeds have a game in hand.
If they win tomorrow against QPR there’ll be clear air between them and West Brom, and they were delighted.
Here are the best reactions from Leeds fans after a ‘perfect result’:

The other night I cheered a late Brentford equaliser at WBA, tonight I cheered a late WBA equaliser v Villa. The more teams below us who drop points the better. Huge game tomorrow. #lufc
