OPINION
A section of Leeds United fans are worrying, but they really shouldn’t because the struggles of Eleven Sport’s UK arm is unlikely to have any major impact on what is going on at Elland Road and Andrea Radrizzani’s running of the club. According to the Telegraph, Radrizzani’s sports streaming service is on the verge of shutting down it’s UK-based broadcasting after it failed to take off. It is no shock considering not a lot of people in the UK are bothered enough about La Liga and Serie A to subscribe to a service that only shows those football leagues and the company is still big enough overseas for Radrizzani to make decent money. If anything, it probably just means that Radrizzani won’t be making much more money than he is already making and he could take a bit of a hit in the short-term as Eleven Sports deals with closing down the UK arm. These Leeds fans seem to be worried by the news, but really, it is just a small bump in the road for Radrizzani.
