Atlanta United can show interest in Marcelo Bielsa as much as they want, but there is no way that the MLS champions will be able to lure the Argentine away from Elland Road. ABC News has reported that Bielsa is on the shortlist to replace Gerardo Martino as manager of Atlanta. It is fair enough for Atlanta to want him, it just shows what a fantastic manager he is and how well he is doing in Yorkshire right now. Atlanta are the best team in MLS and are likely to pick up a lot of money from the possible sales of Josef Martinez and Miguel Almiron in January. But there is no way that they could afford to lure Bielsa away from his £6million-a-year (Daily Star) deal with Leeds. He also seems very committed to the cause at Leeds and for him to leave them would be a massive shocker. United fans do not need to be this angry about the report though. Atlanta do probably want Bielsa, but there is no way that is going to happen, so maybe these fans need to chill out a bit.
