Football fans love to see homegrown talent come through the youth system and into their first team and Leeds United supporters have been blessed with the amount of starlets making their name at Elland Road.

From Bailey Peacock-Farrell to Jack Clarke, the Whites have already shown a fantastic ability to rely on the players graduating from the academy in the first team this season and manager Marcelo Bielsa has constantly shown he is not afraid to bring them in if he feels they are ready.

Aapo Halme was the last youngster to make his first team bow – but it appears as though there is another that the supporters can begin to get excited about.

Taking to his personal Instagram account, 19-year-old winger Robbie Gotts revealed that he was the 19th man for the clash against Queens Park Rangers on Saturday, photographing his shirt – featuring the number 53 – in the Elland Road dressing room.

With Stuart Dallas suffering an injury blow and Bielsa knowing that he needs to keep rotating his players over the massively demanding winter period, it seems as though he was giving young Gotts a taste of what he might be able to expect in the coming weeks.

While January is not yet upon Leeds, it seems as though Bielsa is keen to keep promoting talents of his own rather than sign up new players to bolster his squad and Gotts appears to be the latest beneficiary.

What can Leeds fans expect? Only time will tell – but if he is good enough for Bielsa, he should be good enough for them.
