Be excited Everton fans, be very excited. According to the Times, Andre Gomes wants to make his loan stay at Goodison Park permanent and some supporters are in absolute meltdown on Twitter. Gomes has had a brilliant start to life in the Premier League and many Everton fans will be praying that the Barcelona outcast will sign a deal with them in 2019. If it does not happen in January then it looks like it should happy in the summer, so there is a good reason as to why the fanbase is gushing over this report. The Portugal international has added so much class and quality to the Everton midfield since he was signed on loan in the summer. Given how little he played for Barca last term, it is mad to see how good he has been in the Premier League. The Toffees could easily finish seventh in the league this season with a player like Gomes in their side. Marco Silva played a blinder to get him on loan – buying him permanently could be one of the best deals in Everton’s recent history.
