Marco Silva could be forced into making one change to his starting line-up ahead of Everton’s clash against Manchester City at the Etihad on Saturday afternoon.

According to the Evening Standard, midfield mainstay Idrissa Gueye is a doubt for the Toffees’ trip down the M62, meaning that Morgan Schneiderlin could make a first start in the Premier League since September.

Other than that, Silva is unlikely to make many changes to the side that drew 2-2 with Watford on Monday.

That means that Jordan Pickford is expected to start in goals behind a back-four of Seamus Coleman, Michael Keane, Yerry Mina and the man who helped earn that point at Vicarage Road, Lucas Digne.

Andre Gomes is pretty much nailed-on to start and he is likely to partner fringe player Schneiderlin in the midfield, who could start ahead of Tom Davies because he is more experienced and is more defensive-minded.

Theo Walcott could start on the right-wing with Bernard on the left and Gylfi Sigurdsson in the number 10 role behind Richarlison, who might start as the lone striker once again.

Everton have not won away at Man City since a 2-1 win there in December 2010.

Pep Guardiola’s side lost their first league game of the season to Chelsea last week, while the Toffees are without a win in their last three.
