OPINION
The whirlwind deal that saw Leeds star player Samu Saiz depart back to Spain has been officially concluded, and fans have flocked onto Twitter to give him a final send-off from Elland Road.
Despite the transfer window not opening until January, Saiz has already been wheeled out in his new Getafe kit (albeit in a bad Photoshop job) and a journalist has claimed that Leeds are set to get a €500k loan fee that will turn into a permanent €6.5m deal in the summer.
However, some Leeds fans are unhappy that Saiz himself hasn’t said anything before being shown in his new club’s kit, or that Leeds haven’t been transparent over the deal, while others were sad at the loss and happy to wish him luck.

We don’t know exactly what happened with Saiz but Marcelo Bielsa confirmed that there was a personal issue and the speed of the deal suggests it was pretty serious.
If the financial details are correct, Leeds have got a loan fee and will receive a fee in the summer that almost doubles their initial investment of £3million.
That’s got to be seen as a good deal in the circumstances and Leeds continued their winning ways without Saiz on Saturday.
Will they replace him? With Izzy Brown suffering a reaction to playing for the Under-23s on Monday, we’d like to think that Bielsa will look to bring in an attacker and maybe someone that’s played with him before. Ibai Gomez is a name that’s been mentioned a lot and he’d be a fantastic replacement.
In the meantime, here are the best reactions from Leeds fans:
You are getting a great players shame it didn't work out at #lufc but I wish Samu and his family all the best back in Spain. ??

Whatever the personal circumstances there feels a little lack of respect to Leeds from him!!

Totally agree, I’d have hoped he’d have put something out there before it was plastered everywhere that he’d signed

What a waste. Could’ve been playing @premierleague football next season! No real ambition imo, but fair enough if you’re wife doesn’t like Leeds and you’ve put your family first with a baby in the way. Such a shame. Good luck @Samusaiz

Nice to hear that a foreign club tells us what is happening to a current Leeds United player. Why no transparency and honesty from the Club ?…does Bielsa needs to b told prior to Bolton game that one of the players central to your plans is going on loan to another club…farce
