OPINION
Leif Davis was thrust into the spotlight on Sunday, getting his debut for Leeds after Barry Douglas was pulled from the line-up during warm-up.
The 18-year-old left-back found out he was playing just before kick-off and found himself a goal down before he’d have known what was happening.
As one fan said he looked a bit like a deer in the headlights to start off with but he came into the game and started to look really confident on the ball.
It was a pretty incredible display considering the circumstances of his debut and yet another Under-23 prodigy coming through into the first team.
It’s amazing how many youngsters are making the grade at the moment, with Jack Clarke showing why fans have been begging Bielsa to start him with a game-changing goal in the second-half.
The incredible comeback, from 2-0 down to 3-2, will have done Davis a world of good and fans were all blown away with how good he was on his debut.
