Aston Villa secured their biggest win so far under Dean Smith with a 3-0 triumph over Derby County on Saturday, and many fans have taken to Twitter to rave about midfielder John McGinn.
After a goalless first-half it was McGinn who put Villa on the path to three points with the opener before he turned provider for Tammy Abraham, with Conor Hourihane netting the third.
Aston Villa fans have been reacting to the result on Twitter, with many drooling over the Scotland international after another stellar display in midfield.

COMMENTARY
These Aston Villa fans were obviously left in awe by McGinn’s performance on Saturday, and it is easy to see why. As he has done for most of the season, McGinn absolutely bossed the midfield for the Villans against a dangerous Derby side. His work-rate and fitness are pretty much second-to-none in the division, but he brings so much more than that. His late run into the box to head Villa ahead was brilliant, and his swinging delivery in from the left for Abraham to double the lead was a beauty. This is a player who can do everything in midfield, and as many of these fans point out, is likely to be the bargain of the summer, possibly among all four professional leagues in the country. For Villa to have signed a player of such quality for just £3million plus add-ons is pretty ridiculous, and as many fans say, that is something they can thank former boss Steve Bruce for.
