OPINION
Rangers fans were put through the wringer at Ibrox on Thursday night in their crunch Europa League game against Villarreal.
Daniel Candeias was sent off for nothing, again, in the first-half and it left them with a mountain to climb against the Spanish side.
They knew they’d have to be at the top of their game to get anything out the clash and fans think that Lassana Coulibaly let them down badly.
He was somewhat of a surprise starter in the game, after only playing 10 minutes in the last three Premier League games.
And Rangers fans weren’t impressed with what they saw, with one fan saying the “Coulibaly experiment is over. Ejected please.”
Another asked what had happened with him after he enjoyed such a good start to his Rangers career.
One thing that’s possible is his injury and a couple of fans pointed out that he hasn’t been the same since coming back.
However, despite him, Rangers held on for an incredible point with just 10 men against a very good side.
