OPINION
Internationals might be the break between real football but the new UEFA Nations League has certainly spiced things up a bit. Scotland enjoyed a magnificent night at Hampden Park in a match that was maybe a bit more thrilling than they wanted it to be. A hat-trick from Celtic man James Forrest was the headline from the game but Rangers played their part. Goalkeeper Allan McGregor was magnificent again and saved his side from an almost certain equaliser at the death. With the score at 3-2 and Scotland needing a win to secure promotion, but more importantly a play-off shot at the Euro 2020 tournament, Tomer Hemed found himself free in the Scotland box and on the end of a brilliant cross. He poked the ball goal-wards and McGregor pulled off an unreal save when it looked certain that a goal would break Scotland’s hearts. It was enough to win McGregor rare praise form the Celtic supporters who were gallant enough to take to Twitter and make their views public.
Here are the best reactions from Celtic fans to the Rangers keeper:

I'm a big Jamesy Forrest fan…. wee man is brilliant. But McGregor's save was outstanding too.

Not all Celtic fans were full of praise for McGregor but one summed things up perfectly when he said that it doesn’t matter what side of the fence you’re on, Rangers or Celtic, “The fact of the matter is that that sublime save by Alan McGregor ensured we gained promotion to Group B and the play-off.”
