Daniel Arzani is in good hands after his season-ending injury, according to the Scottish Sun.
They report that he flew out to Barcelona for an examination yesterday and will go under the knife with top surgeon Dr Ramon Cugat later this month.
Cugat is the doctor who has successfully treated Man City stars Sergio Aguero, Kevin de Bruyne and Vincent Kompany.
Arzani is out for the season and said to Celtic fans, “’I’m trying my best to reply to everyone but please understand this is also a very tough time for me as I received the bad news today that I will indeed need an ACL Op ruling me out until next season.”

Cugat has been called Man City’s “secret weapon” and he has successfully treated huge Man City stars and got them back playing ahead of schedule. Arzani couldn’t be in better hands but it will be a long road back for the 19-year-old whose season took a tragic turn following his ACL injury. Before his 20-minute cameo he was making the headlines because of Brendan Rodgers’ refusal to play him, while he was turning out for the senior Australia side. However, when he finally got his chance his season was cut short in the worst way possible. We wish Arzani all the best for a speedy recovery and we hope to see him back in the Hoops next summer. He’s on a two-year-loan and there’s been no talk of him being recalled. Indeed, after recovering in Spain the report claims he will complete his rehabilitation in Scotland.
