Rangers fans react as they close in on Solanke loan

A section of Rangers fans on Twitter have been thrilled by a report from talkSPORT which claims that Liverpool striker Dominic Solanke is set to join the Gers on loan in the January transfer window. It also adds that Solanke’s arrival would mean that loan flop Umar Sadiq would be sent back to Roma and that is all that one Rangers fan wants for Christmas this year. You can understand why these fans would want Solanke in. Although he has not kicked a ball for Liverpool this season, this is someone who has continually impressed in England’s youth set-up and he even earned his first senior international cap for the Three Lions last season. Jurgen Klopp may want to offload the striker temporarily to get him some much-needed action, but Steven Gerrard’s link to Anfield will clearly strike again if this deal is sealed off in the winter. Ryan Kent and Ovie Ejaria have both been fantastic so far. Rangers fans have every right to believe that a third arrival from Liverpool in Solanke would work wonders as well.
