Wolverhampton Wanderers put in a stellar display to draw 1-1 with Arsenal at the Emirates on Sunday, and many fans have taken to Twitter to rave about centre-back Ryan Bennett.
Wolves took an early lead through Ivan Cavaleiro and looked good for the three points before a late equaliser from Henrikh Mkhitaryan dashed their hopes of a famous win.
Wolves fans have been reacting to the result on Twitter, with many singling out Bennett for a solid display at the back against a dangerous Gunners attack.

COMMENTARY
These Wolves fans were obviously left impressed by Bennett’s performance against the Gunners, and you can see why. The centre-back was immense on Sunday, helping Wolves to the brink of a famous win. It is such a shame that the newly-promoted side were just unable to see out the victory, with Arsenal’s quality finally counting in the final few moments. Bennett, alongside defensive partners Conor Coady and Willy Boly, played a huge part in limiting a dangerous Arsenal attack to just 10 shots despite them having more than 70% possession across the 90 minutes, and that kind of performance deserves a lot of plaudits. Focus after the game seemed to be on the fact that Arsenal did not play well, but what about how well their opponents played? You cannot overlook how impressive Wolves looked at times against a top-six side hoping for Champions League football, and that will give Wolves fans such heart as they look to establish themselves in the division.
Another great team performance, if only those chances went in (again) . I thought Costa was MOTM closely followed by Bennett #WWFC

Only got ourselves to blame for not winning that. Great point, but should have been three. Time to step away from the small time mentality, finishing is costing us. Bennett back to form and Jonny was also superb. Costa a nuisance all game. #wwfc

Particular shoutout to one Ryan Bennett. He certainly made me eat my words!
Superb defending/positioning and much better on the ball.
Still not convinced he's the long term solution at RCB but you cannot fault his performance today. #wwfc

Everyone waiting for Bennett to get ousted from the team. Glad Nuno dont listen to all the negativity and opinions wanting Dendoncker to start just because Ryan isnt a 'name'. He was superb again today. Wouldnt swap Nuno for ANYONE. What he has done for our club is superb #WWFC

Superb. For a bit of luck at the end we would've been taking all 3 points. Bennett back to his best. Magnificent team performance. On to the next one. #WWFC

Coady and Bennett have been colossal this half. Ruben superb as well. Raul up too has been brilliant for our counter attacking play. Thoroughly deserve our lead. It speaks volume that no team has found a way to stop us playing. Nuno is god. #wwfc ?
