A number of Tottenham fans have been left drooling on Twitter over Mauricio Pochettino’s decision to name an attacking line up for the club’s Champions League clash against PSV Eindhoven on Tuesday night.
The Lilywhites revealed their starting XI via their official Twitter account, with the north Londoners welcoming their Dutch counterparts to England off the back of a nervy 3-2 win over Wolves on Saturday.

The two sides met in Eindhoven two weeks ago in a 2-2 draw which saw Hugo Lloris sent off, Luuk de Jong netting a late equaliser to leave Spurs’ hopes of qualification to the knock out stages hanging by a thread.
With anything less than victory almost guaranteeing their exit from the Champions League at the group stage, the decision to go with a forward thinking side had the supporters in ecstasy on social media.
COMMENTARY
Mauricio Pochettino knows he is facing an uphill battle to get the club out of the group stages and injuries and suspensions have not made his job any easier throughout the early stages of the season. Things have been looking up for him in recent weeks, with the ability to call on the likes of Christian Eriksen and Dele Alli after their recent setbacks, and he has done just that for this crucial battle. The Tottenham fans are absolutely loving it as well, and you can imagine that if they are successful on Tuesday then this will be a line up which the supporters can get excited about on a more regular basis. It screams of goals – but will there be too much attacking drive in north London which leaves the defence at risk of being overrun? That is the gamble that Pochettino has taken with his line up, but it does not appear that the fans care one bit. They want to see their side rip PSV apart – and Pochettino could not have chosen a much better team to give themselves the best chance of doing just that.
