A number of Tottenham supporters have taken to social media to react to an official update from the club over how the famous cockerel of their club emblem and White Hart Lane will adorn their new stadium.
The cockerel is a symbol synonymous with the Lilywhites, appearing on their crest as well as having a golden one stand at the top of their old home stadium, and the north London outfit have informed fans of how they intend to continue their tradition at their new ground.
Taking to their official Twitter account and website, the statement confirmed that there will be a new cockerel on top of the south stand, facing with its left wing towards the pitch, and that old cockerels from White Hart Lane will also feature around the stadium.

The fans turned to Twitter to voice their reactions to the news, with many thankful that it was a good piece of news while others teased at how long the statement was.
