COMMENTARY
Tottenham are well known for their impressive youth talents and 16-year-old striker Troy Parrott seems to be the one that fans are most excited about next. The young hitman has been a constant threat for both club and country at youth level and nothing has changed after he netter a stunning strike in the UEFA Youth League against Inter Milan on Wednesday afternoon. At 16, he has some way to go until he makes the step up but he is looking a real talent and you can see why the Spurs faithful are so excited about him on Twitter. If he can continue to punch above his weight in terms of the age bracket he is playing in then he could well go on to make a first team breakthrough in the next 12 months. That would be some achievement for the teenager but Mauricio Pochettino has proven to keep faith in youngsters who are showing something special. Parrott is doing just that right now and so the manager will not be able to avoid taking note of what he has got to offer.
This is Futbol has gathered a selection of the supporters’ tweets:
Interesting that as Robbie Keane retires we might be witnessing the emergence of a "new Keano" in Troy Parrott. https://t.co/I8YwoG62Oc
