Tottenham legend Glenn Hoddle has predicted that they will emerge 2-1 winners against Chelsea at Wembley on Saturday evening.

Hoddle is currently recovering from a heart attack suffered while working in the studio for BT Sport, with the former Spurs maestro now at home after several weeks in hospital.

BT Sport presenter Jake Humphrey has now shared that Hoddle has delivered a surprise prediction for the huge Premier League clash on his personal Twitter account, with the 61-year-old sharing the forecast by text.

OPINION

This will be a prediction that warms the heart of every Spurs fan, with Hoddle having suffered that worrying heart attack so recently. Not much has been heard from the man himself since the incident, with it being confirmed that he is back at home after spending some time in hospital, so this will really cheer up the Spurs faithful. Hoddle is held in such high regard by the club and its fanbase, and it is no surprise then that he is predicting a huge win for the Lilywhites on Saturday. Chelsea arrive at Wembley still unbeaten in the Premier League, and Mauricio Pochettino’s side will be hoping to change that. One thing you would expect from this one is goals, with both sides having little trouble finding the back of the net, particularly in ties against each other. Both sides possess some serious weapons going forward, so this one may actually come down to which defence is up to the task. Tottenham have been boosted by the potential return of Jan Vertonghen, who is hopefully in contention to start alongside Toby Alderweireld.
