If there is one thing that Wolverhampton Wanderers striker Leo Bonatini has not been doing this season, it is scoring goals.

It is staggering that the one thing that he is paid to do, he fails at.

To be fair, Wolves’ attack is struggling in general and boss Nuno Espirito Santo needs to get the best out of them to guarantee his side a spot in the Premier League next season.

Bonatini is struggling in particular, but there is one thing that may help him recapture his form and get his scoring boots on once again.

The way in which Nuno can achieve that is by introducing another player into the mix – and according to the Mirror, the newly-promoted club could put in a bid for Liverpool striker Divock Origi in January.

Yes, admittedly he is not the most proven of forwards in the top-flight, but one thing is for sure – he is the player who can help bring the best out of the six foot [Transfermarkt] first team figure.

Origi has been struggling on the goal front as well, but with the responsibility of scoring likely to be piled on the pair if the Belgian makes the move, then they will have no choice but to step up to the plate.

Wolves’ form has taken a remarkable turn for the worse, and that will only be further hampered if Nuno continues to stick with Bonatini.

Not only would Origi’s presence help bring the best out of the Wolves player, but the Reds ace will finally have the chance to make some progress and get a decent amount of game time under his belt in the Premier League.

The manager no doubt wants nothing more than to see Bonatini end his misery in front of goal – and Origi is just the player to compliment him.
