Everton travel to Stamford Bridge to take on Chelsea in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon, and Marco Silva is expected to make two changes to his starting XI.

The Toffees are coming in off a 3-1 win over Brighton last weekend which took them into the top half of the table, with Marco Silva’s side now sitting in ninth with 18 points from their first 11 games.

Opponents Chelsea remain unbeaten in all competitions this season after they followed up a win over Crystal Palace with passage to the Europa League knockout stages with a 1-0 win over BATE in midweek.

Silva will want to name as untouched a lineup as possible against the Blues but the Portuguese has a couple of issues to contend with that may force his hand.

In goal, Jordan Pickford is expected to start as normal.

In defence, Seamus Coleman, Michael Keane and Lucas Digne are all expected to retain their places, while Kurt Zouma misses out due to ineligibility against his parent club, meaning rarely-seen colossus Yerry Mina is expected to make his full competitive debut.

In midfield, Andre Gomes and Idrissa Gueye are thought likely to remain in place, with the duo clicking nicely in the past couple of matches.

Theo Walcott and Bernard are expected to keep their places on the flanks, with Gylfi Sigurdsson in the number ten role.

Another forced change is thought likely to come up front, with Richarlison a doubt after suffering an ankle injury, meaning Cenk Tosun is expected to deputise. Silva favourite Richarlison may end up recovering in time, but the club will not want to take any risks with his fitness.
