A number of Leeds United fans have turned to Twitter to celebrate the arrival of senior star Mateusz Klich’s daughter after he posted a touching message on his social media accounts.
The Polish midfielder has become one of Marcelo Bielsa’s most regular players since the manager’s arrival at Elland Road in a surprise turnaround, the central talent having been shipped out on loan back in January just six months after joining the Whites.
Taking to his personal Twitter and Instagram accounts on Tuesday, Klich confirmed the birth of his daughter at Leeds General Infirmary with a heartfelt post, sending his love and affection to the baby and mother.

Having seen teammate Pontus Jansson become a father only a couple of weeks ago, the Leeds faithful were left celebrating the second new arrival on Twitter.
COMMENTARY
Nine months ago there was not an awful lot to celebrate on the pitch at Elland Road, with Thomas Christiansen making way for Paul Heckingbottom after a dire run of results, but there was the positive news that two of the club’s players -Klich very much an outcast at that point – were set to become fathers. Now they have both welcomed daughters to the world and it has brought the fans and players ever closer together after what has been an exciting – for all the right reasons this time – start to the season. Leeds fans are not only passionate and supportive of the players on the field but off it as well and the messages Klich has received will let him know just how much they appreciate him being part of the club, especially after a difficult first season at Elland Road. His daughter being born in Leeds means the family will always have a connection to the club and you can be certain the fans will hold him in high regard wherever he might be.
