OPINION
This certainly wasn’t a trademark performance from Leeds United or from Adam Forshaw, as the Whites huffed and puffed on their way to a 2-0 victory over Bristol City on Saturday. Marcelo Bielsa’s side never truly got going at Elland Road and Forshaw, unfortunately, was one of those at fault for the team’s lacklustre performance. As some of the fans have alluded to he slows the game down an awful lot and doesn’t really contribute all that much in an attacking sense. That’s fine in a tough away game or when Leeds are defending a lead late on, but when the team are trying to win a match in front of their home support he’s maybe not the best choice in midfield. For that reason you can see where the Leeds fans are coming from with their comments. He wasn’t at his best against Lee Johnson’s side and struggled to get anything going throughout the game.

Reckon we could maybe do with Saiz. Don’t rate Forshaw in his position. #lufc

I'd literally rather have a sausage in midfield than Forshaw. He brings absolutely nothing. #lufc

Forshaw and Dallas slow down every forward move for #LUFC our system doesn't benefit from them playing need to get Saiz on and maybe go to 3 at back and 5 in MF Coops Philips Halme

I like Forshaw but he doesn't work with Klich in this team, offered nothing attacking wise so far. Klich needs to be back into his most useful position which is where Forshaw currently is. Saiz adds that extra dimension in attack which we are missing badly.

Very poor first half.
Phillips and Douglas the only players who look involved in the game.
Forshaw doesn't work with Klich, Pablo doesn't work without Saiz. Saiz needed earlier than he was brought on vs WBA.
Bristol City made mistakes when pressured, so will be important. #lufc— All Day LUFC (@AllDayLUFC) November 24, 2018
