Leeds have an absolutely huge game coming up on Saturday in the Championship against promotion rivals Sheffield United.

Marcelo Bielsa’s men travel to Bramall Lane in search of their third consecutive win after they were slightly derailed by the 4-1 loss to West Brom.

And they’ve almost got themselves over the latest injury crisis after goalkeeper Bailey Peacock-Farrell was fit enough to play against Reading and save a late penalty that secured them all three points.

However, Pontus Jansson is unlikely to be ready for Saturday’s game, with Bielsa sounding very pessimistic about his chances in the Reading pre-match press conference.

If that is the case then we expect Kalvin Phillips to carry on in the centre of defence with Liam Cooper, with Barry Douglas and Stuart Dallas on the flanks.

However, we think there will be a change in the middle.

23-year-old Chelsea loanee Lewis Baker didn’t play well and was hooked after 45 minutes.

By contrast, £3m signing Samu Saiz and youngster Jack Clarke made an immediate impact when they were introduced and it’s time for Bielsa to play both from the start on Saturday.

That means Adam Forshaw playing in the defensive shield position, Clarke playing out on the left, and Saiz pulling the strings in the middle.

Pablo Hernandez, Mateusz Klich and Kemar Roofe should round out the team, with Ezgjan Alioski likely to be axed for the first time this season.

Clarke for Alioski is the big switch fans have been asking for and Bielsa is likely to execute it this weekend.
