Darren Moore could make four changes to his West Brom starting line-up ahead of the clash against Blackburn at The Hawthorns on Saturday afternoon.

Dwight Gayle and Kieran Gibbs could both miss out after suffering injuries in the defeat to Derby on Wednesday while Chris Brunt and fan favourite Sam Field could be axed from the midfield.

Conor Townsend will more than likely start if Gibbs is injured while Moore could take Gayle’s possible absence to beef up his midfield and hand James Morrison a rare start after he did a decent job off the bench earlier this week.

Jake Livermore is available after serving a suspension while Gareth Barry could potentially return after missing the last two games with an injury.

Sam Johnstone is expected to start in goals behind a back-three of Tosin Adarabioyo, Craig Dawson and Kyle Bartley. Ahmed Hegazi missed the 4-1 loss to Derby through injury and could remain out again Tony Mowbray’s side this weekend.

Livermore could start as the defensive midfielder with Morrison and Barry occupying the central midfield roles.

Matt Phillips could start as the right-sided wing-back while Townsend is expected to start on the opposite flank if Gibbs is unable to play.

Harvey Barnes is pretty much nailed on to start in the No 10 role and Moore could decide to play Jay Rodriguez as the lone striker.
