A section of Tottenham fans have savaged Ben Davies for his display in the 1-0 win against West Ham at the London Stadium on Saturday.
The 25-year-old Wales international was back in the starting line-up for a Premier League game for the first time since September 2, but did little to impress some Spurs fans on social media.
Davies was on the end of a lot of criticism on Twitter, with one saying that the ex-Swansea left-back does not meet the quality required for the Premier League.

OPINION
Davies’ form has dropped a lot since last season and the Spurs fans appear to prefer Danny Rose over the Welshman now with his performances getting worse and worse. Mauricio Pochettino has overlooked him in the league for this season but Rose has had major issues with injuries and fitness throughout most of 2018 and Davies had to start on Saturday. It does seem like the ex-Swansea man is becoming a bit of a scapegoat, because even when Tottenham win or do well, he is getting pelters on Twitter. It is a big week for Spurs now and they need Davies on top of his game with Rose on the sidelines. On Wednesday, the North London club travels to the Netherlands to take on PSV in the Champions League before a Monday night clash against Manchester City at Wembley and a Carabao Cup clash against West Ham. They are very important games and Spurs need to try and win them all.
