A number of Rangers fans have turned to social media to slaughter the first half performance of defender Nikola Katic in the clash away to Hamilton.
The Gers went into half time 1-0 courtesy of a goal from Ryan Kent less than 10 minutes before the half time whistle, after a disappointing overall performance from Steven Gerrard’s men.
The Ibrox faithful picked out Katic as one of the worst performers in blue, saying his performance was shocking and that he would cost the side a goal before the end of the 90 minutes.
This is Futbol has gathered a selection of the supporters’ tweets:

Opinion
Katic has been missing with a knee injury for the last couple of weeks, and it seems as though the fans think he was some way off his previous performances with this outing at Hamilton. His passing was all over the place and it kept the Gers under constant pressure from the home side as they gave up possession time and again. He has serious competition for a place in the starting XI from the likes of Joe Worrall, and such unimpressive outings are going to do his hopes of securing a regular place in the team no good at all. Still, as one or two of the supporters say, it could be that he is just rusty after his layoff and that the minutes he picksĀ up here will do him the world of good as he continues to try and get back to where he was performing at before his injury setback.
