A number of Rangers fans have been left in ecstasy on social media after watching Liverpool loanee Ryan Kent’s performance against Spartak Moscow in their Europa League clash at Ibrox.
The Ibrox outfit looked to cement their place at the top of their group with victory over the Russian side, having picked up four points from their first two games against Villareal and Rapid Vienna.
However the three points were taken by neither side as they played out a goalless draw in Glasgow, both teams struggling to create too many clear cut chances which could have sealed the win.
The performance of Kent down the wing had the Ibrox faithful in total awe on Twitter, with one supporter going as far to say that he was the best player in Scotland while another insisted the club should do anything they could to sign him permanently

Commentary
Kent has gone from strength to strength at Ibrox and the fans might well have seen him at his best on Thursday night. His performance had the supporters’ jaws on the ground with his silky skills which tormented the Russian side for much of the clash, and it is easy to see why they want him to sign permanently – although that seems seriously unlikely with the Liverpool coaching staff likely to be keeping a close eye on his displays while north of the border. However, while there might not be the chance for him to commit to a long term future at the club, the Rangers fans should not let that take away from the enjoyment that having a player like Kent brings when watching on. Best player in Scotland? There are a few who might like to feel they can throw their name into the ring for that honour, and Kent might need to prove himself for a little longer before he can be considered.
