Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers has confirmed that midfielders Olivier Ntcham and Eboue Kouassi will be game-day decisions ahead of Wednesday’s clash with Dundee.

Both players started Sunday’s 3-0 Betfred Cup semi-final victory over Heart of Midlothian; while Rodgers has also provided an update on Australia international Tom Rogic.

“Tom Rogic’s available and will be in our squad tomorrow,” he said via the club’s official Twitter account. “Olivier Ntcham we just need to wait 24 hours to see where he’s at. Eboue Kouassi as well.”

Rogic and Ntcham have both been key figures in the Celtic midfield, while Kouassi has emerged more recently in Scott Brown’s absence through injury.

OPINION

Well the good news is Rogic is available and will surely be included in Rodgers’s starting line up on Wednesday night. The Hoops have really missed the Australian when he’s been absent this season and it’s big news that he will be available against Jim McIntyre’s side. His positive forward running and goalscoring threat from midfield is huge for Celtic and it’s likely he’ll have a big impact against Dundee. Ntcham and Kouassi both sound as if they could potentially miss the game after being substituted during Sunday’s win over Hearts. Kouassi is only just getting his chance this season now that Brown is out of the side for a few weeks so he won’t want to miss any game time. Ntcham is a hugely important player for Rodgers and the Northern Irishman will be hoping that the France international can pull through at the last minute and face Dundee at Dens Park.
