David Prutton has predicted that Leeds will get back to winning ways away from home in the Championship, after a poor run of just one win in six games.

Writing in his regular Sky Sports column, Prutton thinks that Marcelo Bielsa’s men will have too much for Hull and that they will run out 2-0 winners at the KCOM stadium.

“Even though Leeds are missing key men Kemar Roofe, Patrick Bamford and Pablo Hernandez, the amount of shots that they have, the amount of possession they enjoy and the way that they play, I just think they are going to go to the KCOM and dominate, even though the Tigers did well to get a draw against Middlesbrough,” Prutton said.

OPINION

It has been a poor run for Leeds that has coincided with injuries to some of their star players. Manager Bielsa has said that he doesn’t think the loss of key players has contributed to any points being dropped, but we’d disagree. Both Roofe and Bamford are big losses, but it could be Hernandez who is the biggest miss. He’s been consistently brilliant for Bielsa this season. The good news is that, with the exception of Bamford who’s out until the new year, they’ll be back after the international break. However, that still means two more games without them, and three points tonight would be a big step back after they lost their place at the top of the Championship to West Brom over the weekend. Their fast start has meant they’ve been able to take their recent run without losing any ground but they can’t afford more slips. Tyler Roberts has struggled to lead the line and Leeds fans will be looking to Mateusz Klich and Samu Saiz to step up for them tonight.
