The agent of Everton forward Nikola Vlasic has claimed that the youngster could end up at Inter Milan in the future after the Serie A side tracked him over the summer.

The 21-year-old is currently on loan at CSKA Moscow and is thriving away from Goodison Park with three goals and two assists for his new side already, including the winner against Real Madrid in the Champions League this week.

His agent Tonci Martic has now claimed that the young Croatian will hopefully end up at Inter in the future after the recent interest from the Champions League club.

Speaking to FC Inter News, he said: “I hope so. It would be nice to see him in Milan one day. We’re talking about one of the best players in the Croatia U21 team, and the future of the national side. For Inter and other clubs, it’s an interesting profile.

“He’s a player who saw off the game against Real Madrid without a problem, showing his qualities despite being young. He’s 21. If that continues, it’s normal that Inter and other prestigious clubs will see him.”

OPINION

Vlasic is certainly turning some heads with his performances for CSKA since his loan move from Everton in the summer, with the 21-year-old attacker producing on a regular basis so far in Moscow. His best moment so far came in the Champions League this week as his early goal saw CSKA secure a famous European win over the defending champions Real Madrid. That is a moment which Vlasic will remember for the rest of his life, and one which will also have put him in the minds of top teams across Europe. Everton will obviously be keen to see Vlasic come back to the club next summer, but that disappointing first year appears to have caused some friction between the player’s entourage and the club, and it would not be surprising to see him complete a permanent move away next summer. Whether that will be to Inter is another matter, but this posturing from his agent is not good news for the Toffees in any case.
