Tottenham should have had their stadium ready for the start of this season but was anyone really surprised when it was delayed?
It’s led to home games being played at Wembley again and cup games at the Stadium MK.
It’s obviously not been ideal but the very latest photographs of the stadium will convince fans that it’s all been worth it.
The grass pitch was laid yesterday and as photographs posted by Lilywhite Rose on Twitter show, it’s looking absolutely stunning.
The one under the floodlights really shows what a fantastic arena it’s going to be when it starts to host Champions League games, although at this rate Tottenham won’t be in it after Christmas unless they pull their fingers out.

It’s the next step in the evolution of a club who have taken off under manager Mauricio Pochettino.
The club might have angered fans this summer after not buying anyone, but the investment in this new stadium – which looks like it will be head and shoulders above any other stadium in the UK – shows that Tottenham are laying the groundwork to be one of the biggest clubs in Europe.
Daniel Levy must focus on the squad next but Tottenham fans have got a stadium that will do their team proud and make every other fan in the country jealous.
