OPINION
It’s nice to see that Wolves fans were clearly watching Portugal against Scotland to cheer on their club’s players, with Costa in particular getting their support. While a section of the fans above do go overboard with their praise of the 24-year-old winger, they make it clear that they appreciating getting to watch him every week. Costa has played nine times across all competitions for Wolves this side and managed to score during his EFL Cup outing against Sheffield Wednesday despite only featuring for 18 minutes in that match. Given that Costa will no doubt be feeling confident after his dream start for Portugal on Sunday, perhaps that will help him get off the mark in the Premier League this season. The 24-year-old has done his part to see Wolves take to life in England’s top-flight like a duck to water but it would be nice to see him grab a goal or register an assist in one of his outings in the near future.
