Chelsea take on Burnley in the Premier League at Turf Moor on Sunday afternoon, and many fans have taken to Twitter to question their starting front three.

Star forward Eden Hazard has not travelled with the squad as he attempts to recover from a back injury, meaning that Maurizio Sarri has plumped with Willian, Pedro and Alvaro Morata in attack.

Chelsea fans have been reacting to this starting XI on Twitter, with many picking out those three as poor choices from the Italian boss.

COMMENTARY

These Chelsea fans seem extremely worried about their front three against Burnley amid the absence of Hazard, and you can see why. None of that trio have been on particularly good form at all this season, so to see them starting together must be slightly worrying. That being said, all three are players of high quality, especially when compared to the options at Burnley boss Sean Dyche’s disposal, and Chelsea should surely have enough to still win this game. Suggestions that their unbeaten run is set to end today are surely premature, and Blues fans should still be hopeful heading into this one. That is not to write Burnley off, but merely to say that those three options are still better than anything Burnley have to offer up front. It is also a good opportunity for the Chelsea fans to get behind some of their fringe players who will no doubt have a part to play in the long season ahead.
