Arsenal make the short trip across London to face Fulham at Craven Cottage on Sunday afternoon, and Unai Emery must make several changes to his starting lineup.

The Gunners are coming in on the back of a comfortable 3-0 win over Qarabag in the Europa League, and Emery will be hoping there is no hangover for his players after their long trip to Azerbaijan.

They are currently on a five-game winning streak in the league and an eight-game winning run in all competitions, and will be hoping that continues against a dangerous Fulham side.

In goal, Emery must stick with Bernd Leno considering Petr Cech’s injury.

In defence, a back four of Hector Bellerin, Sokratis, Rob Holding and Nacho Monreal must play, with Stephan Liechsteiner and Sead Kolasinac axed.

In midfield, Lucas Torreira, Aaron Ramsey and Matteo Guendouzi must start, with Mohamed Elneny dropping out. This would be just Torreira’s third Premier League start for the Gunners, with the £75,000-a-week midfielder impressing recently [Total Sportek].

In attack, Mesut Ozil, Alexandre Lacazette and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang must start, with Danny Welbeck, Emile Smith-Rowe and Alex Iwobi all axed.

This is a return to Emery’s normal formation in the league, but sees six changes made to the personnel in a team which should have enough to smash Fulham, who look susceptible at the back.
