Marcelo Bielsa reportedly wants young Tottenham centre-back Juan Foyth at Elland Road to help push his side back into the Premier League and many fans are desperate for it to happen.
Argentinian outlet AS reported that Bielsa wants to offer him game-time during the second-half of the season at Elland Road after the Standard reported that he might go out on loan in January.
The 20-year-old has made eight appearances for Tottenham and has recently been rewarded with his first call-up to the senior Argentina squad.
COMMENTARY
Foyth signed for Spurs for almost £12million from Estudiantes and has yet to make any sort of impact in the first-team. However, it’s clear that Pochettino really rates him and sees him as a star of the future. His recent call-up to the senior Argentina squad seemingly vindicates Tottenham’s decision tp spend big money on him. However, he’s not going to get much game-time in the second-half of the season unless Tottenham suffer a huge injury crisis. And what better place for him to develop and learn his craft than under a manager that Pochettino rates so highly? There’s been talk of Foyth going to Leeds for a while and although some of it can be put down to speculation given the closeness of the two managers, it does seem like the perfect fit. This is definitely one that we could see happening in January and as one fan said, it’s the “type of signing that solidifies a title-winning season. Although we’re sure that Leeds fans would take second place in the league just as eagerly.
Here are the best reactions from Leeds fans to the potential January deal:

If Harry Kane loses his touch we'll have him as well to get his form back and running!

Foyth. Yes please, Andrea, even if on loan. Smart, Argentinian, tall, 2-footed tackler, brave, way stronger than he looks, an excellent investment. @LUFC @RobofLeeds #LUFC

Looks like could be in the market for a defender in January, seem very interested in signing Tottenham centre-back Juan Foyth on loan #lufc #mot

Some Spurs fans are up for the move as well, acknowledging that Foyth needs regular game-time to develop.
Tbf Foyth was bought as one for the future. He needs to be loaned to Leeds in January for more game time and then a view taken at the end of the season as to whether he’s good enough.

Foyth going to Leeds on loan wouldn't be the worst thing, I don't know if the Championship would be good for him but Bielsa would help him improve and learn new positions. AS @Belgian_Hotspur has suggested Foyth could make a good CDM.
