Marcelo Bielsa loves to name an unchanged line-up but we think that he will make tactical changes for the game against Blackburn, with key players set to return.
Pablo Hernandez, Kemar Roofe and Gaetano Berardi are all set to return for the next Championship game on October 20 and we can see all three being put straight back into the starting XI.
As quoted in the Yorkshire Evening Telegraph, midfielder Kalvin Phillips confirmed the return of the two attackers, saying, “They all look well. We did a tough session yesterday and they’re looking sharp and fit. It’s just about getting that match sharpness now.”
They can get that in the Under-23s game at Thorp Arch tomorrow.
Luke Ayling is suspended after picking up a red card against Brentford and Berardi can slot in for him at right-back.
Jamie Shackleton might be hoping to get the nod himself but if Berardi is fit, we think he’ll get the nod.
With Barry Douglas injured, Stuart Dallas should remain at left-back, with Roofe coming in for Tyler Roberts up top and Hernandez playing in place of 21-year-old Jack Harrison.
If Bielsa was feeling really radical he could move Alioski back to left-back and keep both Roberts and Roofe in the line-up, but we think that will be a step too far for the Argentine manager.
Here are is the line-up we expect to see against Blackburn after the latest injury news:
