Chris Sutton has predicted that both Rangers and Celtic will win their respective fixtures tonight (Wednesday).

Steven Gerrard’s side welcome Kilmarnock to Ibrox as they look to bounce back to winning ways after being dumped out of the BetFred Cup by Aberdeen on Sunday.

Celtic face a trip to rock-bottom Dundee at Dens Park, and Sutton believes that both of the Old Firm sides will be picking up maximum points in their Scottish Premiership ties.

“Aberdeen, Celtic, Hibs, Livingston, Rangers, Motherwell to win tonight,” he said via his personal Twitter account on Wednesday evening.

OPINION

While it is easy to agree with Sutton on the Celtic result, it is hard to see Rangers getting a straightforward win against Kilmarnock. Steve Clarke has made Killie very difficult to beat for both of the Old Firm rivals with him overseeing wins against both of them during his first year in charge at Rugby Park. They have already beaten the Hoops this season and last term saw them win away at Ibrox courtesy of a goal by Kris Boyd. Rangers could be shook by their semi-final loss against Aberdeen at the weekend while Killie will be on a high after moving up to second in the Scottish Premiership table. They are unbeaten in their last five games, winning four and drawing one, so it could be a very tight clash in Glasgow on Wednesday. As for Celtic, they should easily beat Dundee, who have been woeful this season and conceded seven goals in their last two games.
